Week of 3/20/2017

This week we are starting a "20 day boot camp" which is a review of everything we have covered this year.  Each day we will work on ten problems that contain mix of topics we have covered this year.

Week of 2/20/2017

This week we reviewed the most missed types of questions from the last benchmark.  Then we used Kahoot and Quizizz to review some more.  Next week students will take the third benchmark on February 29 and March 1.  Also on February 28 is our leadership night at the Intermediate school.              

Week of 2/13/2017

This week we continued with equations and inequalities as well as some writing assignments.  Next we will be reviewing for our benchmark which is February 28.  Also on February 28 is our leadership night from 5pm- 7pm. Students should have brought a letter home about leadership night.

Week of 2/6/2017

This week we studied equations and inequalities.  We took two quizzes one over inequalities and and FDP.

week of 1/30/2017

This week we reviewed ratios and rates. We took three quizzes ratios, simplifying fractions, and fraction, decimal, percent quiz.  The contract kids continued working on their packets and projects.  Some of the contracts kids are still working on airplane projects, others moved on to stock market, or catapult projects.  

Week of 1/9/17

This week we reviewed order of operations, prime factorization, models, and number properties.  We also started our activities for the kids who have earned their contracts.  The contract kids reviewed a variety of topics and played some games.  On Friday the contract kids will start an airplane project.  Today we had a quiz over equations and inequalities, and we took an FDP quiz.  Next week we will continue with order of operations and prime factorization.

Week of 12/5 2016

This week we worked on equations and inequalities.  We are also reviewing for our final exam.  Tuesday 12/13 we will have our final exam.
